At EDJS Distribution, we understand that timely and reliable delivery is crucial for your business operations. Our comprehensive delivery service ensures your products arrive safely and on schedule.

Delivery Coverage

We provide nationwide delivery services across the United Kingdom, including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Our extensive distribution network ensures we can reach even the most remote locations efficiently.

Delivery Timescales

Standard Delivery: 3-5 working days from order confirmation
Express Delivery: 1-2 working days for urgent orders
Scheduled Delivery: Book a specific delivery date and time slot to suit your business needs

Orders received before 2:00 PM on working days will be processed the same day. Orders placed after this time or on weekends/bank holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated based on order value, weight, and delivery location:

Free Delivery: On orders over £500
Standard Rate: £25-£50 for orders under £500
Remote Areas: Additional charges may apply for Highlands, Islands, and offshore locations

Exact delivery costs will be confirmed at checkout or via your account manager.

Tracking & Notifications

All deliveries are tracked from dispatch to delivery. You will receive:

  • Order confirmation with estimated delivery date
  • Dispatch notification with tracking number
  • Delivery updates via email and SMS
  • Real-time tracking through our online portal

Delivery Requirements

To ensure smooth delivery, please ensure:

  • Adequate access for delivery vehicles (including space for pallets and forklifts where applicable)
  • Authorised personnel are available to receive and sign for deliveries
  • Delivery address details are accurate and complete
  • Any special delivery instructions are communicated in advance

Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, absence of authorised recipient, or incorrect address details, we will:

  • Attempt to contact you immediately
  • Rearrange delivery at your convenience
  • Hold items securely at our depot for up to 7 days

Additional delivery charges may apply for redelivery attempts caused by customer error.

Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries

Please inspect all deliveries upon arrival. If you identify any damage or discrepancies:

  • Note any damage on the delivery receipt
  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos of damaged items and packaging
  • Do not dispose of damaged items until we have assessed the claim

We will arrange replacement or collection of damaged items as appropriate.
